Dear All,

As you are aware, the country is facing an unprecedented crisis in the last few days on account of COVID-19 pandemic. The Government of Chhattisgarh along with Govt. of India has implemented various safety measures to combat the spread of this global pandemic. Hon’ble Prime Minister has announced the complete lockdown of 21 days from the midnight of March 24, 2020. On one hand, in this hour of crisis, it is the time to show determination and resolve in expressing our solidarity to the path outlined by the Government to combat this pandemic, at the same time, the lockdown period needs to be gainfully and professionally utilized while sitting at home.

Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) jointly launched an initiative called “National Initiative for Technical Teachers Training (NITTT)” to address the newly inducted technical teachers who play the vital role in the technical education system of the country. You may be proficient in your subject domain and its application. But at the same time, you still need to learn the requisite delivery skills to communicate the knowledge and skills to the students in an effective manner.

In this regard, it is to inform that NITTTRs have developed pedagogy modules for the newly inducted technical teachers. The technical teachers have to undergo the pedagogy modules in the SWAYAM platform and get them certificated from NITTT. The teachers have to register in a web portal called “NITTT Portal” which is a vertical portal over SWAYAM platform. The further details of this initiative has been given in the attached NITTT flyer of AICTE.

This has been introduced for the newly inducted technical teachers, it is mandatory to undertake NITTT modules in order to lift their probation. Moreover, the senior teachers are advised to visit the website to have an idea for their future prospects.
