[B] Administrative Assignments:

1. As Vice Chancellor:
[A] Administrative Reforms-

  • Regularize the semester exams and declaration of result with in the time limit prescribed in academic calendar.
  • University has introduced the MIS for prompt, efficient and hassle free workings. The work of MIS is expected to complete in December 2017.
  • Establish the Digital valuation system of answer copy. This type of valuation system is limited to 2/3 Universities in India.
  • Starting the vehicle facility to the faculties and staff of University.

[B] Development of University New Campus-

  1. After construction of Academic building and boundary wall, University has been shifted to new campus on 20th June 2016.
  2. Framework of master plan- Master plan of the new campus has been finalized by organizing a competition between the nations renowned architects. The new campus will be constructed in two phases. Drawing, design and estimate of first phase has been completed and construction work of phase first has been initiated.
  3. Solar Energy Efficient Campus- Fixed a target to achieve 1MW electricity for whole university through solar power. In the first stage 120KW electricity production through solar energy will be started in September 2017.
  4. Green Campus- University campus is sprawling in 250 acre. 25000 plants will be planted sequentially in a strategic way. Up to 30th August 2017 Approx. 4000 plants will be planted with drip irrigation techniques.

[C] Academic Reforms-

  • Faculty development plan- University initiated to provide phase wise training to teachers of affiliated institutes (about 3000 in number) by singning MoU with NITTTR Bhopal under its ‘Operation Chanakya’ program.
  • Increasing the academic status of students (Through video conferencing)- Establishing a video conferencing centre to teach the remote area students in their weak subjects at basic level. This centre will be properly connected with all Universities and is the only centre in all universities of country. This centre starts working from September/October 2017.
  • New campus plan completed. Phase 1 construction detailing accomplished.
  • Developing sustainable solar powered campus.
  • Office automation by Tata consultancy.
  • Establishment of Informal Education Center for all.
  • Started four new PG courses.
  • Restarted unique PhD entrance exams.
  • Started International Journal.
  • E-library consortium.
  • MoUs with International Universities and Institutions.

[D] Social Work:

  • Adaptation of 42 villages.
  • Forum for solutions of social problems.
  • Establish Water Resources Cell.
